Star Wars 1 is a default scenery, default costumed mess of a film. The lack of voices, text boxes, or any kind of narrative element makes this little more than one of Melanie's films. Much of the fight scene footage is lifted directly from Venus 31, with replaced sound effects. As far as sound goes, the Star Wars sounds mixed in are descent sounding, not suffering from too much quality loss. The MIDI score is also a decent collection of Star Wars MIDIs. Alas, that is all that this film comes up to. The complete lack of narrative, plot, character development, and creative thinking puts this movie in the pit of dispair. Review by Andrew Salter. |
