Parodying the new color version of Psycho, this is actually mostly dramatic rather than funny with some slight twists on the film. Although there aren't too many handmade scenes, the execution is good from the Hitchcock-style credits to Gus Van Sent's techniques. Coming in February 2001 is Pseudo 2: Book of Darkness, a parody of Psycho and Blair Witch Project 2, more on that as it becomes available. I quite liked this as a source of the odd chuckle and the subliminal images were hilarious. Doesn't take itself too seriously either. |
