The combination of a fundamentally simple and well focused plot make this short an immediate hit. Jeremy Dick was the brains behind it all (written by), and Santiago was the man in the driving seat (directed by). Telling you anything about the movie's plot would ruin the experience for you, so I'll hold my tongue and you can just find out for yourself. Santiago is renowned for his eye candy, and this time round he has made extremely good use of the expansion pack. Many of the scenes are a pleasure to watch just because of their look. The attention to detail is what I love... the small things that aren't always apparent. I saw that Jaymond mentioned the traffic light changing from green to red, the smoke bellowing in the background and the shadow of the tree on the grass; these are the very ingredients which can subliminally make or break a movie! Animation wise, there isn't a lot to comment on. Most of the movement is done through wonderfully panned camera angles, but everything that is there is smooth and precise. Ramza has once again composed a brilliant musical score to accompany the action and Jaymond's voice acting shines.

The best thing I can do to the describe this movie is telling you that it's a mixture between American History X and Mississippi Burning. Although this movie has a very strong plot I found the scenery to be average. To be honest I was expecting a bit more. The movie length is good, running a good 10 minutes or so. What makes this movie interesting is that there aren't many boring pieces that just slow the movie down. Unfortunately I found the ending a bit rushed - that's not a very good thing if you have a movie with a good solid plot. The best thing about this movie is the way it depicted racism with realism. I've seen many other 3dmm movie with this sort of plot but they can't compare to this. This is by far the best drama movie containing a racism plot. The music, characters and drama sequences help make this movie something quite different. The overall outcome of this movie is good, and although there is a lack of great scenery and a rushed ending, it's still quite special, earning itself a place in my personal top 10 drama's.

Forget high quality scenery! Forget interesting characters! Forget a good soundtrack! This movie hasn't any of the above but still it made me laugh out loud! This is your typical light-hearted, old school, chain movie directed by Jeremy Dick and Spencer Crabb - when they were bored. Annoyingly, there is no ending cause they hadn't time to finish it, and perhaps it doesn't really belong in a Film Festival, but it's a nice change from the more serious movies.

Another one of those joke movies, quite good too. I liked Voodoo Dick better but that's probably because I didn't hear that one in advance; although I heard this joke before it was still pretty funny! Well done on another good animated joke!

A very silly, very short silent movie-esque comedy from Jeremy's ever-growing movie catalogue. Showing how two loners meet and become best friends. Reminiscent of the dead 'girlfriends' as seen in the Bongo Adventure series, the humor might not be to everyone's tastes. Younger watchers beware - your parent's probably wouldn't agree with you watching the final scene :) Review by Will Cheyney - 4/10.
An extremely short movie by Jeremy Dick. His release for the Summer Film Festival last year was the brilliant 'Abortion' by him Santiagio Miglionico. That was stunning. This year he's given us something very different. This movie is a funny sort of comedy about two people who meet up and become best friends. There really isn't much else to say about this movie. It's short and sweet. Despite it's simplicity, you may still enjoy it. Review by Ben Rice - 6/10. |

A creepy teaser for Jeremy Dicks movie in the making. As you would expect, plot details are kept to a minimum allowing you to draw your own conclusions from what you see. Looks pretty cool and expect to see plenty of gore.

Okay, here's a remake of a remake of an old crappy movie that Jeremy created back in the day when he was a mere n00by. It's still crappy, but granted, it's better. Nothing really wonderful in it... some simple custom scenery to replace the stock ones he used from the first two. Because like... we all know you're uber 1337 if you use custom scenery, right? So yeah, animation and scenery was barely tolerable. Voice and music was barely tolerable. Story was barely tolerable. And up here in Canada, the term is "HOSER". Unless you meant to say poser. In which case, that makes no sense whatsoever, and you suck monkey balls. Anyways, the first movie made in 1998, and the remake made in 1999 are both also included, as well as an excus- I mean a readme from the director. Personally, I like the 1999 version better... So yeah, I've seen worse, but it's still pretty crappy.

A short horror comedy from Jeremy and Dave here for the Winter Film Festival 2004. It has a simple zombie story; two curious boys resite an age old spell to bring revivethe dead. Their fun backfires when the spell actually works, resulting in the dead rising from their graves to eat the living. Enraged, a zombie hunter makes it his job to go after them. The scenery is a mix between the default angles, enhanced with the new expansion pack textures. It looks ok, but it isn't exactly a new or original technique. I thought the voice acting was quite well done, but other than that nothing else really shined. It is all very average, dating looking stuff. It wouldn't have looked out of place 3/4 years ago to be perfectly honest. I really can't suggest this as a worthwhile download to everyone, but make sure it becomes part of your collection if you are a particualr fan of the horror genre, or you are a die hard Dave Smith or Jeremy Dick follower.

Hilarious. Yet another addition to the 'KLOWN FILMS' joke collection. Just as funny as the other four joke-to-3dmm movies (Voodoo Dick, Costume Party, Twist of Fate and Dirty Dishes), this one tells the tale of a black boy who wants to put his penis in the pickle slicer at work. To say anything else would ruin the effect of the movie. Download now.

It's been in the making for a bloody long time. I remember Santiago sending me a load of what he had done on this movie back at the end of 2002. I believe that then, it wasn't a joint venter - Santiago was working on this movie alone. Well since then, Jeremy Dick has joined the directing cast. Having been in production for quite some time, I was quite excited about it's release, especially as I had seen some promising stuff quite early on. Unfortunately, it fell short of what I had hoped for. The basis of the movie is how a 'children in Africa need help' advertisement is nothing more than a huge scam. It started off being relatively funny and quite clever but as it progressed it became less and less witty and and even more unclear. Eventually it became nothing more then a senseless shoot-em-up. Technically the movie is good; scenery and animation is above par, it's just a shame that I lost interest towards the end. Overall - not great, but definitely worth a look.

This is only a little joke movie, but - Waha - it made me laugh. I'm not going to say anything about the plot without giving the whole thing away, but it's very clever and witty for such a little short. Worth a peek. Review by Will Bamber.
