A well made series of comedy movies. When the movies originally hit the scene back in April 2000, Chris and Will tried to release a new episode every week, reflecting any community related happenings. Purposely made short 'n' sweet, this is hilarious - accompanied by some great action with the usual Will Maltby effects. Chris and Will (playing themselves) do a great job with the voices. I recommend you download the entire series. Top stuff!

Best of the Rest

This is a compilation of all Will Maltby's remaining work that hasn't previously been released. It is actually quite funny and does have some quality moments. Conceptually it's bad, in practice it's good. I think anyone will find this at least amusing and people who like Will's humor will probably like it alot.

Bulletin Board Vigilante, The

(I think) this was Will's last substantial and complete release. It was certainly released just after DD. Anyway, another great shoot 'em up/sniper from Mr. Maltby. If you were a fan of DD then this will be just your thing. The same old insane high-octane action and slickness is more than apparent. The movie make use of some nice visual effect and the music pumps adrenaline. A highly recommended download!

Cataclysmic Contentment (unfinished)

Ok, don't get too excited, this sounds alot better than it is. The reason for this is simply that since it's work in progress, there's hardly any detail to these scenes. Infact, the only thing completed is the music and music syncing so that is basically what you'll be watching. That aside, this is actually a good lil watch. It's just the unfinished open scene and an unfinished intro titles sequence. Nothing more. I don't want to discourage people from seeing this, but don't expect anything great. Download and see what you think. And no, unfortunately CC will NEVER be finished and Maltby will probably never make another 3D movie. Bye Will!

Cataclysmic Contentment Preview

Easily the best preview Will's done to date and can be summarised as a short version of BB Vigilante in terms of style (thumping music with lots of gunfire). It has great replay value since it's more of a viewing pleasure than an explainy/suspense type trailer. This preview is also a point in 3dmm history - it is Will's final bit of real work in 3dmm. A definite download. Classic stuff.

Diabolical Delightment

When I first saw the prequel to this, EE, it was like the first time I saw a 3D movie made in 3dmm all over again - amazing! And when I heard that a the sequel DD was coming out, I got quite excited.... but had doubts to whether it could match EE in terms of quality. However, when the movie was finally released, after a years work, I was amazed to find out that it was actually infinitely better than EE. From the very start, the movie is well paced and crafted. The animation is nothing short of spellbinding, its probably the best ever, infact, the first time I saw DD, I fell of my chair in awe. The camera movements are fast, fluid and consistent. Will also wonderfully makes use of cinematic techniques such as slow motion, camera shake and matrix style camera swoops. The scenery was also excellent - never sparse and never over-the-top. Music and sound effects were chosen as if they were made just for this film. There was nothing that seemed out of place or distorted at any time. It all just fits - wonderfully. Again, like with EE, its major letdown is the problems with voices. At times of high octane, character voices are simple drowned out and lost, and you may find yourself either struggling to hear what they or saying, or simply stopping the scene and then starting it again, simply to get rid of the music temporarily - which you must admit, just isn't cricket. The movie has no proper storyline whatsoever, just Gustave mindlessly killing anyone in his way - but hey, who cares, when animation is this good it doesn't matter. Saying that, after 20mins or so, the killing does start to become a little tiresome. All in all, this is an instant classic, which no movie collection should be without. Download now, put your feet up, and be prepared for 20 or so minutes of mindless action.

Diabolical Delightment Hoax Trailer

On an April Fools Day 2001 Chris and Will released this as a prank on the 3dmm community. As we all know DD has now gained somewhat of a 'legendary' film status, and was heavily anticipated by many back in the day. When Adrian Pikios saw this it inspired him the make 'The Demon At Chris And Wills HQ'. A pretty funny thing here and it fooled/angered people in the masses. Download for a laugh. Review by Ben Rice.

Enriched Enlightenment

Will Maltby's first feature length 3dmm movie (run time of 15 mins) and was released in August 1999. This was one of my first 3dmm movies I ever downloaded. The animation an custom made scenes were second to none back then, and even today, aren't that shabby, perhaps slightly dated though. The movie has absolutely no plot, very random and very chaotic. The voicing cast is also very well done, with crazy screams and laughs throughout. A major problem, I found, with this movie, is that character voices were simply lost in the frenzy of sfx and background music, which at times, got annoying as you had to stop the scene and then start again, so that the music didn't play and interfere with your viewing. A movie which I recommend, simply so you can see how Will's choreography skills progressed for DD.

Fast Chain Movie

Maltby came up with the idea of a 'fast chain moive' when bored one day many moons ago. The idea is just the same as a normal chain movie passed around directors, but done in the space of a few hours. Maltby got Brad and Adrian interested over ICQ. Each director had just 5 mins to do whatever we could (however crap) and then pass it on to the next person. For the larger part it works very well, it isn't until Adrian's part that things start to change. It is obvious that Adrian took far longer than was allowed for his part. It's funny to watch though and there is the patented 'Maltby randomness' feel to it all. It's just a fun bit of viewing. I remember there also being talk about this being 'polished' up and given a proper release, but for whatever reasons, it never happened. Review by Will Cheyney.

France 98 Tickets

Maltby made this short movie during the 1998 World Cup. It represents the alleged struggle British supporters faced when trying to buy match tickets. I remember Maltby saying that he didn't really care about this issue, but felt that the situation had all the makings for a funny movie - especially with Gustave as the main character. I Know Christmas Special

This special edition of the "I Know" series was released for Christmas '99. Will introduced a lot more camera angle switching to make the movie a lot more visually sophisticated. It's not really a movie in with the Christmas spirit, but it's good for a Willy Maltby style laugh. Another classic.

I Know Compilation 1

The first of the legendary "I Know" movies. This movie contains 5 "I Know" scenes. Despite it's age this movie is still good to watch and provides a good introduction to this infamous series. Basically, it's about Gustave running around maniacally getting himself killed in the process. Lot's of times. I recommend downloading the whole series, obviously starting with this one! A piece of 3dmm history.

I Know Compilation 2

Slightly better than the first, but still dated and slow-paced. Most of the deaths aren't even that funny, but the whole thing somehow manages to have charm. You have to remember that these movies are nearing 6 years old and considering that, some of the animation is actually pretty decent. An excellent addition to the series for it's fans.

I Know Compilation 3

Again, more of the same... more deaths, more hilarity and even more history. The action has got a little faster with this episode. The escalator part in was pretty funny. Animation etc. is also good considering it's age, but I still think anyone but fans of the series will be desperately bored watching this.

The 4th part in the series and things are steadily getting more slick and fast. Gustave explores 5 more ingenius ways to dispose of himself. The deaths are also becoming better choreographed. The meteor in the final shot is tops!

I Know Compilation 5

This 5th part in the series brings with it a new found faster pace and Chris's infamous "blblblehhh!" death scream. The final scene is hilariously horrific. The death sequences weren't quite as original as in the last episode, mind. Nevertheless, a worthy addition to the popular series.

The 7th in the series takes a much faster approach by ridding the slow dithering between scenes and making each scene more brisk. There are a total of 6 deaths (7 including the intro). Visually, this movie is a whole lot more polished than any other one and the comedy is on it's way up.

I Know Compilation 10

I seem to remember this movie being a delayed...? If I am correct then there is good reasoning as to why. This is by far the most impressive of all the "I Know" movies. The scenery is pretty decent and the animation is true to Will Maltby's unstoppable style. I'm finding it hard reviewing all these movies in one go now, because I have watched so many it's becoming hard to compare them. Easily the best in the regular series.

I Know Halloween Special

Gustave goes on a 'trick or treat' to good old Venie's in this Halloween based "I Know", obviously! (100% fitting for this update!). A very good collection of ingenius methods of suicides. This is the first "I Know" movie to consist entirely of custom scenes.

I Know Random Edition

Maltby never got round to finishing this movie, apparently due to the transition he made from Windows 9x to XP. This is just an intro and one scene. But it's a pretty spectacular. Both this intro and scene are unfinished leaving a few things to the imagination. With Windows 9x the music is synced perfectly both in the intro and scene. With XP it's screwed.

James Bond

This is Maltby's classic James Bond spoof which gets more absurd as it goes on. It looks very dated now with the special effects looking a bit drab, bit it still retains charm through it's comedy. Awesome retro'ness.

Wankerman DVD Edition

Christmas 03 Film Festival movie #10.5. Started as a joke the best part of 3 years ago between Will and Oz, this movie was never officially released before now. Apparently, Maltby made this crappy 15 second movie, then Oz added another 20 times slightly more hilarious DVD material. This imbalance is part of the joke. Space Goat was supposed to add some material of his own, but never got round to completing it once Oz left the community. It's short, pointless and well, unfunny to be perfectly frank. I suggest you download it though just for old times sake!
